TAGA Orphan Care Foundation

TAGA Orphan Care Foundation is the realization of my dream to care for orphaned children. After telling my grandmother about opening our house to some orphaned children, she agreed to support my dream. So we created space in her small house to take care of more orphans including my siblings who are orphans as well.

My dream to take care of orphans started way back in 2003 after losing my mother because she was everything to me. Being brought up in a disadvantaged home by my grandparents, I witnessed how children were suffering because of losing a parent or parents and poverty. I felt in my heart that all the orphaned children should be taken care of by the government, yet nobody cared about them. It is because of this situation that I promised to myself that one day in future I should have a family full of orphans so that they can see a better future in life. I cannot live to see a child suffer after losing parents when I have been a victim of such so I would rather do something for it and here comes TAGA Orphan Care Foundation. This is what motivated me to start an Orphan Care Foundation, to at least help them see a better tomorrow in a better world

We are currently doing a piggery project to support the children at our Orphanage.  The kids take part in feeding the pigs over the weekend when they pay a visit at the farm.

TAGA FOUNDATION supports so many children, child mothers and school dropouts with school fees payments, and basic requirements. Our sponsorship programs supports the vulnerable girls, child mothers, orphan girls to achieve our mission and vision.
